Lord Sugar shocked viewers and contestants alike at the end of the latest series of The Apprentice by appointing both finalists as winners for the first time ever. James White and Sarah Lynn shared the prize but one of them only scraped into the final after harsh criticism at the interview stage.
Interviewer Mike Soutar said that he accessed the homepage for Sarah Lynn’s online confectionery business, Sweets in the City, easily enough but then found that several of the links failed to work meaning that certain goods could not be purchased. Nevertheless, she still made it through to the final, which perhaps says something about the strength of the opposition candidates.
Needless to say, one of the first things Sarah did when she left the show was to update the site and ensure all the hyperlinks were fixed. It is now working perfectly.
If only she had spoken to us at Dynamic first then the all aggravation and embarrassment of that interview could have been avoided. If we are designing your website then you have no need to worry about faulty hyperlinks.
